QUOTE
Command & Conquer 4 switches up the traditional skirmish gameplay by pitting GDI and Nod against each other in our new 5v5 Domination mode. Two teams of players attempt to take control of 5 Tiberium Control Network nodes scattered across the map, as well as several neutral tech structures. To capture these points, you are given control of a single, mobile base known as the Crawler, which is fully capable constructing all your units and structures on the move and deploying them directly to the front lines.

Player Classes

Tiberian Twilight features three distint classes. Both GDI and Nod are divided into the Offensive, Defensive and Support classes. Also each class has it's own type of Crawler. The Crawler is an all-in-one mobile base which acts as both the traditional base inclusive of Construction Yard, unit production, support powers and upgrades all packed into one as well as a powerful front-line combat unit. The Crawler is one of the most flexible units in C&C4 as it has everything in one place without the need to build a traditional base.

The offensive class is aimed at going head-on into combat and features an array of fast, hard hitting tanks. The defensive class is the only class that can build structures, and these include base defences and super weapons. They are aimed at turtleing up, and have very specific units. They have few tanks, but have an array of infantry. The support class is all about air superiority. Their crawler is airborn, unlike the othe two classes. They too have few tanks, but make up for it in aircraft. They cannot hold there own in a one on one with the other two classes, but incombination with your ally's forces, they are deadly!

Story of Tiberian Twilight

In the year 2062, humanity found itself on the brink of extinction. Tiberium, the mysterious, alien crystalline structure that infested Earth for decades and caused years of relentless conflict between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod, was close to rendering the planet uninhabitable. In the midst of this crisis, Kane, Nod's prophetic leader, emerged from seclusion to deliver GDI the message that he had developed a system that could control Tiberium and harness its power. But he could not build this "Tiberium Control Network" without GDI's cooperation. Thus, the two opposing factions—GDI and Nod—found themselves in a desperate and unlikely alliance to stop Tiberium from extinguishing mankind.

Now, after 15 years, the network is nearly complete. Tiberium is under strict control and our revitalized planet is on the cusp of a new age of prosperity and progress. It is only now that the world's citizens begin to seriously ponder why Kane chose to help, and what he will want in return. These questions and more lead to the dramatic final act of the 15-year Tiberium saga in Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight.
